Susa power plant is located on Libya shoreline at eastern region in Susah town. The plant is designed to generate nominal power of 2x300 MW for Phase I simple cycle operation at ISO conditions, and with overall nominal generated capacity of 900 MW (for Phase I & Phase II) at ISO conditions.
GAEREL has developed fast track program to secure the urgent power demand for this region, Susah power plant Phase I simple cycle operation is designed to support this program.
Susa power plant Phase I consists of 2 gas turbine generators, fuel system, power transformers, switchgears, other auxiliaries, and control systems.
