Client

Canal DisCo

Owner

Hassan Allam Utilities

Location

Sharm El Sheikh

Scope

Hassan Allam Utilities will be developing a 5 MW solar PV power plant in Sharm El Sheikh.

The plant will generate over 9 GWh of green energy per year, offsetting more than 4,000 tons of CO2 annually.

In line with Egypt’s target to cover 42% of the country’s electricity needs by 2030 through renewable energy capacity, once built, the plant will contribute to the country’s plans to decarbonize the energy sector and meet its targets under Egypt’s Intended Nationally Determined Contributions (INDCs) towards achieving the objectives of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).

The Distribution Networks Study in Wadi El Natron

Project

Consultancy Services (Firm) in Charge of the Study of The Works of The Distribution Networks in Wadi El Natron, Egypt

Client

Kahraba - National Electricity Technology Co.

Location

Wadi El Natron, Egypt

Scope

The project is to provide the technical study for selected area in Wadi El Natron, Egypt to improve the distribution network performance including improvement of bus voltage, reduction of high-power losses and supply electricity to all customers with a high level of Power Quality, availability and sustainability.

The Load flow study is essential for a successful functioning of any power system and steady state voltages and currents in system components in order to ensure that a proposed design will meet the planning criteria, such as equipment loading limits, voltage drops. It is also used to investigate the impact of future connections, system expansions, and upgrades.
